Maoist network behind illeagal wildlife trade and Killings.

Since India has strict animal laws it is difficult to sell animal organs or skin. Now animal skin & organs are being supplied to China, Nepal, Tibet and other bordering countries. A very big network of Maoist is active in wildlife trade now.

This has been disclosed by SSB (Seema Suraksha Bal) at Nepal border. In the past evidences of Maoist active in wildlife trade has been produced by Forest department.

A government order (GO) has been passed according to which Special Tiger Protection Force will be formed with 120 police men all equipped with latest advance rifles, ammunition and gadgets. This force will have strict vigilance over wildlife trade.

Hope this step for protecting wildlife will be effective and will create fear amongst wildlife traders and Maoist.

Why save Tiger only?

Today every where there is discussion about Tiger protection but in that process other animals are not even talked about.. Government is telling us that only 1411 tigers are left as of now and we all know it decreasing faster than we are trying to save them..
Gujrat has highest tiger population but nothing noticeable is being done there. If situation remains same very soon Tigers will be wiped out totally from forest and only few will be see in the museums.

Saving tigers is necessary so as to maintain the food chain created by mother nature but why there is no cry about saving other animals like fox, deer, porcupine, peacock and many more. They all are equally important for the food chain and eco system.

We should have laws same for all animals and all the species should be looked at with same respect as tigers and we should come forward to save them.. do you agree with that?

Biggest HUnter - Narayan Chand Caught

Narayan Chand the most wanted international killer and suppllier of tiger skin and other wild animals was caught by Rajasthan police. Narayan Chand and his brother Sansar Chand had created the biggest network of animal skins.

They supplied tiger skin to several countries including China. A small list of animals caught with his is below which again is not event the tip of iceberg..

Corbett Wildlife in Trouble

Wildlife in Corbett park is in trouble and Tiger is the badly hurt animal among them. Cause of the trouble is mushrooming hotels and resorts in this area. At present more than 50 new hotels resorts are under construction. From Ramnagar city to Mohaan where the 95% hotels are being built has closed the corridor for animals between Corbett Park and Sitavani Forest.

Worse part is just to make few more bucks by showing the tiger to their guest goat meat is thrown near the hotels which comes as easy food for tigers. This way tigers are losing their natural instinct which can be a cause for them to convert into man eater when they do not get meat thrown by the hotel people.

Government has spend millions in the name of saving wildlife but it all in vain. All new construction in the Jungle should be banned immediately and the culprits should be caught and jailed.

I invite all those young and old to join us who think they can help us create awareness to save the wildlife... Lot can be changed if WE the common man starts taking interest for this noble cause.

Saved a Hawk from Hunter

A hawk was shot while it was flying... It was saved by Mr.Siddhant president of Wild Tuskers. Though the hunter ran away Hawk was saved with his both the wings broken. Hawk was named LAMA by Siddhant since it was saved in Lamachour village in Nainital district. Lama is gathering his strength now but not before 3-4 months he will be able to fly again,,, Till then he is a guest at DOLMAAR RESORT NAINITAL.
